CETI/R.C.Athena - Research and Innovation Center in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies

The Athena Research & Innovation Centre is the main public Research Centre in Greece focused solely on ICT and its applications. The Cultural and Educational Technology Institute (CETI, belongs to the Athena Research Centre and was founded in 1998 in Xanthi (Greece) as an independent research institute under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (Ministry of Development). CETI currently has 35 staff members, including 15 postgraduate researchers. Relevant research in CETI lies with innovative ICT solutions for culture and education, employing computational & intelligent systems, multimedia, virtual reality, 2D & 3D imaging and adaptive and personalized computing, utilizing wired/wireless technologies. iLearn2Main is coordinated by the Head of the Computational Systems & Applications Department of CETI, Dr. Christos Emmanouilidis.

Apart from project coordination, CETI/R.C.Athena is:  the developer of the iLearn2Main Learning & Competence Assessment Toolkit; the leader of the project dissemination/valorisation activities; participating in defining training needs analysis and in the development of training content; content translation into Greek; quality evaluation.
